Randy and Candice Lyman attended the Possin family reunion at Mankato, MN Saturday. The Possins are on her mother Bernice’s side.
Lindy Buren hosted a Welcome Home Birthday party for her son, James on Sunday. Family and guests joining the celebration party were Josh and Caresa Carney, Elizabeth Carney, Cayle Carney, and Elliott Carney of Spencer, Sidney and Meloni Menglesen and son Derrick of Spencer, Marcus and Michelle, Elsie, Emmet, and Brook of Rock Valley, Linda Heyn and Buzz Tifft. Grilling, games and fellowship made for a great day.
Linda Rozeboom drove to Sioux Falls Sunday and had lunch with Mike, Danielle and Bryce Rozeboom and spent the afternoon with them.
Amy Suckow of Eden Prairie, MN and Andrew Suckow of West Des Moines, came Friday to spend the weekend in the Jim and Becky Suckow home. Dinner guests Friday were Amy and Andrew, and Ray and Henri Schnurr. On Saturday Amy celebrated her birthday. She returned home Sunday and Andrew returned home on Monday.
Larry and Fran Peelen spent the weekend at a Vrbo near Indianola. There were 18 grandchildren and great-grandchildren present from Omaha, NE, Dallas, TX and many parts of Iowa. There were steaks grilled, charcuterie boards prepared and lots of food brought by those attending. There were games played until one o’clock in the morning, kayaking, hiking and lots of visiting. A comment that was made was “When are we doing this again?” The Peelens report that a good time was had by all.
