The Okoboji/HMS girls wrestlers got one win and one loss as they hosted West Lyon and Central Lyon/George-Little Rock in a triangular held December 14 at Milford. The Pioneers defeated West Lyon 48-21 but fell to the Lions 48-30. Central Lyon/GLR picked up another win on the night, defeating the Wildcats 60-18.
Madi Lauer, an HMS student, wrestled at 115 pounds. She picked up a win by forfeit in the dual with the Lions. Against West Lyon she was the victim of a pin in 40 seconds at the hands of Kiann Blomgren.
