Adam Schierholz represented Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn at the State Track and Field Meet held May 16-18 at Drake Stadium in Des Moines. Schierholz was part of the Class 1A discus event on Friday afternoon. The longest throw for the Hawk senior was 149’ 8”, sixth-best in the competition. That earned HMS three team points.
