Supper guests Saturday evening in the Jack and Carol Elgersma home were Don Hakeman, Jim and Becky Suckow and Chloe Elgersma.
Harriet Van Veldhuizen and Nancy Van Dyke went to Sioux Falls on Friday and picked up Diane and Katie McKee and drove on to Huron, SD to visit at the home of Shari Pyle in honor of her birthday which is February 10. On Saturday morning they all attended the Eastern South Dakota Gymnastic Meet at Huron where Shari’s daughter, Leah was competing in three events. They all enjoyed a noon luncheon with some of Shari’s friends before they left for home. They also enjoyed some “Face Time” with Shari’s daughter, Abby of Spearfish who was celebrating her 21st birthday that day.
Barney and Lindy Buren enjoyed supper with Shirley Smith Sunday.
Hank and Mary Iedema were Super Bowl guests Sunday in the home of Duane and Ronda Van Veldhuizen. Earl and Carol Seivert were also guests.
Linda Rozeboom and her sister and husband, Donna and Don Olson of Sioux City met at Le Mars for lunch on Saturday. Christian and Jace Nelson and Shaelynn of Spirit Lake were Sunday lunch guests. Jace is Linda’s great-niece.
Sunday dinner guests in the Sally Knowlton home were her nephew, David Amundson and niece, Janie Slade, both of Canton, SD.
Dinner guests Sunday in the Lee and Susie Van Tol home were their grandson, Garrett Vander Zee, and Mike and Judy Visser and Gertie Visser. Garrett is from South Holland, MI and is a student at Dordt College. He also attended church services with his grandparents Sunday morning.
