Don Hakeman, Jim and Becky Suckow, and Chloe Holland were Saturday night supper guests in the Jack and Carol Elgersma home.
Linda Rozeboom and Mary Japenga were last week Wednesday dinner guests in the Charlotte Dasen home. The guests brought a carry-in dinner to enjoy. The afternoon was spent visiting.
A group of girls who were members at one time or another of the Sanborn High School Class of 1963 enjoyed lunch together at Jay’s Restaurant Monday. The group included Linda Rozeboom, Gayle Vander Woude, ‘Andy’ Cardin, Judy McQueen and Jacque Comstock.
Jack and Carol Elgersma and Don Hakeman were Sunday dinner guests in the home of Jim and Becky Suckow.
Nella Seivert of Harlan came to visit her mother, Sylvia Andringa Sunday. Lois Hakeman also stopped in to visit them.
Anita Goetz arrived last week Friday afternoon to spend two weeks in the parental Charlotte Dasen home. Shelly Sommers of Hartford picked her up at the airport, brought Anita here and was an overnight guest in the Dasen home.
Mike and Judy Visser hosted a family breakfast brunch last Saturday morning. Guests included Troy and Tania Bouma and family of Pella, Justin and Mandy Hoekstra and family of Hull, Gertie Visser, and Lee and Susie Van Tol. The whole group enjoyed supper together Saturday in the Justin and Mandy Hoekstra home at Hull. The”younger ones” enjoyed ice skating at Dordt University later in the evening. On Sunday all enjoyed dinner at the home of Mike and Judy Visser. There were eight grandchildren present.
Cathy and Jerry Gray of Rochester, MN came Sunday to visit in the Charlotte Dasen home and with her houseguest, Anita Goetz.
Bobby and Connie Knowlton of Primghar and Barb Pry visited Sally Knowlton Saturday evening. On Sunday her nephew and niece, David Amundson and Janie Slade of Canton, SD visited Sally. Melinda Larson of Sioux Falls traveled to attend the funeral of her brother so was unable to be present.
