Sanborn’s bowling alley is sporting a new name. With a nod to the major role the railroad played in the town’s history, the Sanborn business has chosen the name Locomotion Lanes Bowling Alley and Diner. Introducing the change by way of social media, owner Bert van Dam said, “In order to celebrate a new chapter of the Sanborn bowling alley, we decided to rename Bowl-Mor to Locomotion Lanes. This decision was not made lightly, and we want to thank all those that have helped build and support Bowl-Mor Lanes in the past.”
