The Annual U.P.W.O. Birthday Party was held Friday afternoon with a good attendance.
The 5th Annual Tea at Prairie View, sponsored by the Auxiliary, was a great success Monday afternoon with over 100 in attendance.
The public is cordially invited to the Chamber of Commerce free bean soup supper scheduled for October 30 at the Community School lunch room.

The children of Pete and Catherine Kroese invited you to celebrate 60 years of marriage with an open house at Prairie View on October 26 from 2-4 p.m.
The 40th anniversary of Mi’Ono Club was observed last week.
Strong winds blew across northwest Iowa Wed. night, October 16…On the Pierson Elgersma farm southeast of Sanborn, a barn and machine shed were destroyed.
