The Ground In The Sanborn Area, Almost Entirely Devoid Of Snow, Received Another Coating Of The White Stuff Friday After A Winter Storm Warning Was Issued For The Area. The Storm Dumped Just Over Six Inches Of Snow On The Community, The First Significant Snowfall In Five Weeks. There Were The Usual Closings And Postponements And Travel Was Not Recommended But People Were Back At It Again On Saturday With One Of The Things On The “to Do” List Being The Clearing Of Snow.
Homes On The South Side Of Highway 18 In East Sanborn Dealt With The Usual Drifts Caused By The Blowing Snow.
Nature’s Blowing Snow Was Followed By Blowing Snow Of The Manmade Variety.
Winds Caused An Overhang Of Snow On This Roof.
