Nancy Masita of Sanborn, a Nursing student at Northwest Iowa Community College, has been awarded the Sioux Center Health Scholarship. This scholarship was established to encourage individuals in the area to pursue health related careers. Other NCC Nursing students who received the scholarship were Erin Lidiak and Dorcas Williams, both of Sheldon, and Brynn Van Voorst of Hull.
The $1,250 Sioux Center Health Scholarships are awarded twice a year by the Northwest Iowa Community College Foundation and are funded by Sioux Center Health. Recipients are chosen because of their academic achievement and potential for success in a health related field.
