Wyatt Borden of Sanborn was the recent recipient of two scholarships awarded by the Northwest Iowa Community College Foundation.
The Maintainer Corporation of Iowa, Inc. Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship and is made possible through support from Maintainer Corporation of Iowa, Inc., Sheldon.
The Vogel Paint Scholarship is a $750 scholarship that is awarded annually and is supported by Vogel Paint, Orange City.
Borden was selected due to his academic achievement and potential for success. He will be a student in the NCC Accounting program this fall.
Also receiving the Vogel Paint Scholarship were Anthony Kooiker of Sheldon and Ethan Van Maanen of Doon. Both are Industrial & Commercial Wiring students at NCC.
