Saturday morning concrete was poured for the new parking along the south side of the town park. This will give additional needed parking space in the area.
The Horseshoe pitching contest will be held in the town park Sat., August 12 from noon to 10 p.m.
Thirty-seven members of the R.C.Y.F. of the First Reformed Church left Tuesday morning by bus to attend the Passion Play at Spearfish, SD and will have a trip through the Black Hills.

The Grand Champion plaque for the 1997 Iowa State Fair American Cheese Exhibit was awarded to AMPI cheese plant of Sanborn.
Bette Reitsma, children and grandchildren enjoyed a family reunion for several days last week at Yankton, SD.
