Kinsey Schirmer Chips Onto The Green As Part Of Her Round Of 57 That Was Fourth Best In The Dual With Remsen St. Mary’s.

Following a pair of weather-related postponements, Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn was finally able to enjoy competition on the golf course. The host Hawks opened the season in style with a 218-231 victory over Remsen St. Mary’s April 11 at Sanborn Golf and Country Club.
HMS had little margin for error in the War Eagle Conference match-up, with only four golfers available. As it turned out, Gracie Knobloch earned medalist honors with a 43, Elise Haack was runner-up after carding a 47 and Kinsey Schirmer shot a 57 for fourth place. Abby Kunzman’s 71 rounded out the HMS scores.
