The Town of Sanborn has initiated a program to furnish trees at no cost to the property owner to those residents who lost trees on their parking last summer due to Dutch elm disease.
The Sanborn Pioneer is having a “Favorite Worker” Contest. Send in the name of your “favorite worker” in Sanborn for the drawing to be held May 18. The worker name who is drawn will receive $10.00 in Trade Dollars.

Office Specialist of the Week winning the bouquet awarded by the Sanborn Pioneer during Secretaries Week was Ronda Pry who is employed at Harry’s Motor.
Sanborn Funeral Home received the Award of Excellence in Funeral Services at the 118th Annual Iowa Funeral Directors Association Convention held April 14-16 in Des Moines.
