The Rev. Joseph A. Kerwin, pastor of St. Cecelia’s Catholic Church of Sanborn and St. Joseph Catholic Church of Hartley, received notice this past week of his re-assignment. He will be pastor at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Wesley affective August 29.
A Neighborhood Carnival Against Muscular Dystrophy will be held August 24 at the Masonic Temple. Lynne Norton will serve as Ringmaster assisted by friends.
The Rev. and Mrs. Herbert Daib invite all friends to help them celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at open house August 26 at St. John’s Lutheran Fellowship Hall.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Gallup, Jr., Jimmy and Jill plan to move to Colorado Springs, CO in the near future where Jim is employed.

Monday, July 13 was a big day for April Andersen (pictured). She with her family, participated in the 9th Trans American Bike Reunion and reunion of people who had biked across the USA in ‘88 and ‘89 for the American Lung Association, raising money for their program.
The new addition for Alzheimer’s patients, Kuiper Villa, is steadily progressing.
