The Board of Directors of the HMS Community School District met in a regular session at HartleyMelvin-Sanborn High School Media Center, on August 21, 2023 at 6:30 pm - Determine a Quorum
Members Present: Ryan Haack, Chad Lyman, Scott Vollink, Becky Stoltz, and Kyle McCarter (left at
7:11pm)
Members Absent: None

insurance renewal.
6.2 Construction Project Update– Mr. Hight with Beck’s presented on the current status
6.3 Discuss Nutrition Potential Expenditures – Options were presented on Nutrition Fund
Balance.
6.4 IASB Board Convention– Convention is November 15-16 and a delegate needs to be
appointed.
6.5 Booster Club Proposal – The Booster Club submitted a proposal for consideration. - Action Items
7.1 Approve Construction Change Order:

7.6 Approve Booster Club Proposal:
Motion to approve up to 10 parking spaces for the football season located in Option #2 to
the West of the roped off area and to the East of the Bus Barn; to be staffed and monitored
by the Booster Club; and to be re-evaluated after the 23/24 Season: Haack, Seconded by:
