South O’Brien turns away Hawks
Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn’s match against South O’Brien was hanging in the balance. Set scores were 25-16, 25-23 and 25-22 as HMS saw its record fall to 1-5 in the conference and 4-12 overall.
“The girls worked hard last night,” said HMS head coach Cheryl Kroese the day after the match. “I was proud of their efforts. We definitely had our opportunities in sets two and three.
