On October 1 Lee Van Tol’s family came to help him celebrate his birthday. They included Dave and Stacey Van Tol of Tea, SD, Mike and Judy Visser, Justin and Mandy Hoekstra, Justin Van Tol, and Ken and Becky ller and family of Primghar.
Jim Suckow visited his daughter, Amy Suckow at Eden Prairie, MN from last week Thursday to Sunday.
Krista Ewoldt and Nesari visited Lindy Buren for three days and attended Lindy’s birthday bash October 5. They finished the evening with a supper at Sheldon where Caresa Carney, and Lindy’s three great-grandchildren of Rock Valley surprised her. Twins Emmett and Elsie and Brooke enjoyed time with Great-grandma Lindy, Aunt Krista and Nesari from Atlanta, GA.
Becky Suckow and Carol Elgersma attended a Rozeboom cousins reunion Saturday at Orange City. These are cousins of their mother, Marna Hakeman. They met at the Netherlander Restaurant.
Lowell Appleton stopped in for a visit at the Charlotte Dasen home Friday afternoon to visit with his former classmate, Jeff Dasen who is here on vacation.
Dr. Jeff and Dee Visser and son, Trent, and her mother, Bonnie Davis, all of Chattanooga, TN were visitors in the parental Judy (Mrs. Bernie) Visser home last week. On Tuesday afternoon Bonnie, Dee and Trent went to Prairie View Manor to visit Jeane Van Veldhuizen. Harriet Van Veldhuizen joined them there.
Randy and Candice Lyman visited her sister, Shawn McReynolds at Webb City, MO last weekend. They helped her with projects and helped her celebrate her 60th birthday anniversary. Morgan and Jayden Lyman also went down for the weekend.
Pete and Evelyn Kroese entertained at their home on Monday, Oct. 2 to celebrate Pete’s 86th birthday which was September 27. Enjoying the great noon luncheon were Pete’s brother, Ken from Schaller and their cousins Marilyn and Dale DeBoer of Sibley and Jeane Van Veldhuizen and Harriet Van Veldhuizen.
On Thursday Sherryl Tressler meet cousins Kay Brands from Illinois and Candy Robinson from Humboldt, at Humboldt for lunch. A little thrifting was also done. They reported a great time catching up.
Debbie Raymond returned home by plane to Sioux Falls Saturday night after staying to care for her new grand-daughter, Molly, daughter of Reggie and Jackie Booker and grandchildren Lincoln and Cecilia. She spent Saturday night at Sioux Falls with her dad, Dale McBeth. Rex picked her up Sunday to return home.
Doug and Cathy Lyman of Livingston, TX arrived at the home of her mother, Harriet Van Veldhuizen early Sunday morning. After enjoying worship and fellowship at the First Reformed Church, Cathy’s sister, Shari Pyle of Sioux Falls, SD joined them for dinner. They had several days of visiting with other relatives and friends here, leaving on Thursday for Webster City to visit in the home of their son, Mark and daughter Lori and Brandon Mason and family.
Brett and Kim Weihe, Coy, Calan and Corwin, Travis, Sabrina and Lochlin Rozeboom, and Shelly Rozeboom spent the weekend visiting Linda Rozeboom and Ray and Henri Schnurr.
