Hinton scored a decisive 183-214 victory over Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn in a War Eagle Conference boys golf dual April 15 at Hinton. The winners had the advantage of playing on their home layout, the Deer Run Golf Course.
The Blackhawks provided all four medal winners. The Hawks’ Kolby Douma shot a 50, which tied for the fourth best round. However, he lost out on the fourth-place medal in a playoff. Next for HMS were Aiden Bush with a 52, Jack Mastbergen with a 53, Eli Mastbergen with a 59 and Slayton McCarter with a 61.
