The Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn boys went low but West Sioux went even lower. HMS posted a season best 184 total and still lost the War Eagel Conference dual to the Falcons and their 175 strokes. The low scores were achieved April 25 at Hawarden Golf and Country Club.
Aiden Bush was a medal winner for the Hawks as his round of 44 tied for the second best of the day. The medalist was West Sioux’s Connor Bergsma who fired a 39.
Blake Meedering shot a round of 46. Jack Mastbergen and Eli Mastbergen were two of the four golfers who came in at 47. Slayton McCarter shot 55 and Kolby Douma 57 for HMS which is still seeking its first conference dual win.
