Hartley-Melvin Sanborn was back on the Sanborn Golf and Country Club course April 22 playing host to Hinton. The Blackhawks compiled a team score of 192 to collect the War Eagle Conference win.
With only two varsity golfers, HMS was unable to compete as a team. Gracie Knobloch shot 43 to claim the runner-up medal. Kamryn Visser-Jennings turned in a round of 63. For both it was their low round of the season.
On the JV side, Addily Benz shot her second consecutive round of 68. Mason VerHelst carded a 71 and Stella Anderson finished with a 78.
