With a number of athletes away at FFA Convention, the Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn track and field girls had to do some shuffling and forego some events. The Hawks still placed in several events and scored 24 points to finish fifth at the Unity Christian Co-ed Invite held April 11 at Northwestern College in Orange City. The meet was won by MOC-Floyd Valley with a 216 total.
Showing her versatility, Jasmine Lux won the 100 meters and finished second in the 800. Kamryn Ebel placed fifth in the 800 meters and sixth in the 3000. Frankie Mohni was fifth in the 100 meter hurdles and Eliza Tewes finished sixth in the discus.
