Better than 900 people were served at the Sanborn Chamber of Commerce Turkey supper Saturday.
On Sunday morning, Dec. 6, the cornerstone for the new building will be laid at the First Reformed Church as part of the regular morning service.
Handicrafts, fancy work, baked goods and gift items were on display for viewing and purchase at the Annual Prairie View Bazaar last Friday and Saturday.
The TOPS #723 Annual Christmas dinner and gift exchange was held Tuesday at the Standard Cafe with 25 in attendance.

The large Christmas tree in the City Park is lighted for the holiday season.
The Festival of Trees first place People’s Choice Award winner was Rhyme Time & Learning Tree Preschool.
Everyone is invited to celebrate Christmas with an old fashioned country sleigh ride at the Dale Lux Farm on Christmas Day from 9-4.
