Once again the Mi’Ono Club is asking community support in an effort to raise money for a 14 foot electric scoreboard to be placed on the athletic field. It will be used for football, baseball and eventually track.
Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Prins returned Sunday from a week’s vacation in Acapulco, Mexico…Mrs. Prins was pictured with the 129 pound Sail Fish which she caught. It measured 8’ 8”. It took her a good half hour to land the fish.

Western Christian Academic Decathlon team was pleasantly surprised last Saturday by placing third in state competition…Team members from Sanborn were Justin Vander Werff, Mark Buteyn , Rob Andringa, and Jeremy Van Beek.
Lloyd and Helen Getting returned last week from an 11-day vacation spent at Phoenix, AZ visiting family.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for Jeff and Deb Tinker, new managers of Sanborn Country Club.
