A group of Sanborn snowmobile enthusiasts left Sanborn on Thurs., March 8 to snowmobile in the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming. They included Duane Van Veldhuizen, Scott and Rachel Schirmer and Kinsey, Trenton Schirmer, Natasha Webster, Peg Japenga and Olivia Japenga. They returned home on Tues., March 16.
Brad Smith of Storm Lake spent Friday in Sanborn visiting his mother, Shirley Smith.
Supper guests in the Jack and Carol Elgersma home last Saturday were Jim and Becky Suckow and Don Hakeman.
Don Hakeman was a Sunday dinner guest in the home of his daughter, Jim and Becky Suckow.
A week ago last Thursday Nancy Iverson spent from Thursday to last week Tuesday in the Shane and Lanea Elgersma home at Otsega, MN. She enjoyed babysitting the grandchildren while Shane and Lanea enjoyed a short fun time get-away.
Bob Ellett of Iowa City was in Sanborn the latter part of last week. He visited with Charlotte Dasen and house guest, Anita Goetz Thursday evening.
Anita Goetz of Fairbanks, AK, who has been visiting her mother, Charlotte Dasen the past two weeks, left for home Saturday. Linda Rozeboom took her to the airport at Omaha, NE and then went on to meet her grandchildren and great-grandchildren for lunch at The Olive Garden.
Eddie Knowlton of Crescent visited his mother, Sally Knowlton last Thursday and Friday. Bob Ellett of Iowa City stopped to visit them Thursday afternoon. David Amundson and Janie Slade of Canton, SD came Sunday to visit their Aunt Sally. They brought a carry-in lunch to enjoy with her.
