On Sat., Sept. 4, Jose and Carol Salazar traveled to West Des Moines to the home of their son, Troy and April Salazar. They went especially to help granddaughter Emma celebrate her graduation from nursing school. Also joining them were their daughter Christy Ten Kley and her children Ava, Ady, and Claire. They enjoyed swimming in Troy and April’s new swimming pool that had just been finished. They all enjoyed the food and conversation. All returned home on Monday.

Sally Knowlton, and Bobby Knowlton of Crescent attended the retirement party Saturday held at the Community Center for Barb Pry.
David Amundson and Janie Slade of Canton, SD brought a carry-in dinner Sunday to enjoy with their Aunt Sally Knowlton.
Brad Olson of Parker, CO stopped Monday morning to visit Sally Knowlton. He was returning home after coming to attend the retirement party for his sister, Barb Pry on Saturday.
Corky Camarigg was a Labor Day supper guest in the Mark and Denise Bohnet home at Sheldon.
Larry and Fran Peelen attended a volleyball tourament in Omaha Saturday.  Hannah Meyer their granddaughter played front center and served which were 3 points out of 4 serves.  They played the number 5 ranked junior varsity team in the state of Nebraska.  The young ladies played very well.
