David Amundson and Janie Slade of Canton, SD visited their Aunt Sally Knowlton Sunday. Sally took them out for dinner at Jay’s Restaurant.
Danielle Rozeboom of Sioux Falls, SD spent Saturday and Sunday in the home of her grandmother, Linda Rozeboom.
A retirement/birthday party celebration was held in honor of Barb Pry on September 11 at the Community Center in Sanborn. The festivities were hosted by Barb’s children: Tom Pry and children Emma, Addie and Parker all of New London; Bobbi Honkomp, her husband Tim and son Sawyer of Primghar (their daughter Avarie was unable to attend as she is away at college in Lawrence, KS;) Sally Urbanic, her husband Matt and their children Elayna and Rowan; Barb’s sister Brenda Noll of Grays Lake, IL; her brother Brad Olson of Parker, CO came to help celebrate as well. Many other friends and relatives were also in attendance, too numerous to mention. Barb said she appreciated all who came to help her celebrate and their kind words, warm wishes and support and gifts. Barb has retired from Sanford Medical Clinic after many years of employment in the Sanborn and Sheldon offices.
Dave and Twyla Otis came Sunday afternoon to visit her mother, Darleen Lode. They ordered a pizza which they all enjoyed together.
Gerret Vander Zee and fiance Sarah of South Holland, MI spent Friday and Saturday in the home of his grandparents, Lee and Susie Van Tol. They attended church services Sunday morning with his grandparents before returning home.
Marge Runia of Brookings, SD visited her sister-in-law, Sylvia Andringa last week Monday afternoon.
Shannon Letche, Kirsten and Crystal of Marcus, and Betheny Buren and Jenna visited in the Keith and Nancy Iverson home Sunday afternoon.
