The Rev. and Mrs. F. Handlogten returned home Wednesday evening after a three week vacation in Europe. They visited seven countries.
Chuck Oostenbrug announced that he is expanding the grocery store, having bought the Raak building south of his grocery store.
Mayor J.T. Comstock announced this week that he will not be seeking a fifth term in that position.
Bob Dummett, sophomore catcher, received first team all-conference recognition by the Sioux Valley Conference baseball coaches. He is now a junior. Honorable mention went to Mick Brown, Mark Frohwein, Glenn Chrisman and Mark Davis.
