New window decals at HMS Middle School provide several benefits
Last week One-way vision decals from Print Transformations were put in place on the windows of the Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Middle School in Sanborn. Middle School Principal Corey Ramsey said the number one purpose of the decals is for security. “We want to provide an open environment for our students, but we don’t want our students and staff on display for anyone who drives by during the day,” explained Ramsey. The Middle School now joins the Elementary and the High School in sporting the decals.
Ramsey pointed out some added benefits. “I can also tell you it is a tremendous relief from the office perspective as the morning sun was intense coming through those windows and raised the room temperature considerably while also making it difficult to see,” said the Principal. “The decals allow me to monitor what is going on outside while not being blinded by the sun all morning. I didn’t have to wear sunglasses in my office this morning.” Oh, and one more thing the decals have going for them. “Of course, they are also really cool looking!” observed Ramsey.
