Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn was entertained by Unity Christian April 28 at Landsmeer Golf Club in Orange City. The Knights beat the Hawk girls 222-229 in the War Eagle Conference dual.
“The scores weren’t maybe as low as we’d like but the girls are working hard and learning,” said HMS coach Cheryl Kroese. “Kinsey (Schirmer) had a great night taking home medalist honors. The biggest thing we need to work on is becoming more consistent with our game. That will come as we get more meets under our belt. Unfortunately, Thursday night was only the second meet we had even gotten to play in this season.”
