Hawk boys pick up dual win over West Sioux
On May 6 the weather allowed Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn to make up a War Eagle Conference dual with West Sioux originally scheduled for April 19. On the Hawarden Golf Club course, the Hawk boys defeated the host team 195-202.
Although the Falcons’ Avery Millikan took medalist honors with a 44, HMS filled the next three spots. Jack Mastbergen fired a 46 for second. Spencer McCarter and Lucas Kroese each carded a 49. McCarter got third by way of a card playoff.
