Morgan Grooters Propels Her Ball Greenward In The Win Over West Sioux.

On a beautiful May 6th day at Hawarden, the Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn girls golfers shot a combined 17 strokes higher than they had three days earlier but still managed to pick up a War Eagle Conference dual win. The victory had been assured despite the 222 HMS total because West Sioux was two golfers shy of the four needed to make a team.
The Falcons did provide the medalist in Brenna Reinking who shot a 47. Gracie Knobloch was second with a 49, Kinsey Schirmer third with a 54 and Kaley Pearson fourth with a 57.
The War Eagle Conference Tournament was scheduled for Tuesday and then the Hawks enter district play on Friday at Primghar beginning at 10:00 a.m.
