The Wade Tresslers received word of the death of former Sanborn resident, Tom Crandall. Tom died on September 13 at the age of 64. He is survived by daughter, Rae Lyn of Sanborn, and many friends here. He lived here for 11 years. A Celebration of Life will be held in Menahga, MN on October 1.
Friday evening Troy and April Salazar arrived in the home of their parents, Jose and Carol Salazar. They attended Alix Salazar’s football game in Algona and spent the evening and Saturday morning at Sanborn. They returned home Saturday afternoon.
Wade and Sherryl Tressler visited Richard Brookes and Ruby Johns at Henderson, MN. On Saturday they attended the Renaissance Festival held in Shakopee, MN.
Jackie Booker, Lincoln and Cecilia arrived Saturday, Sept. 17 from Texas for a visit in the parental home of Rex and Deb Raymond. Reggie will fly in Friday, the 23rd. All will attend a wedding on Saturday, Sept. 24 and the Bookers will fly home on Monday.
Jennifer Maranell of West Des Moines and Linda Rozeboom visited Wanda Schuver Friday afternoon.
Supper guests of Brian and Betheny Buren Sunday were Keith and Nancy Iverson, Chase and Amber Vermeer, Huckson and Alivia of Orange City, Brent Elgersma, and Caleb and Shania Buren of Granville.
On Sunday Sylvia Andringa’s nephew, Kenneth Kuipers of Reading, PA visited her. They were joined by Stan and Bev Andringa of Armstrong, Bob and Nella Seivert of Harlan, and Lois Hakeman. After lunch at a restaurant, all returned to Sylvia’s home for dessert.
Laurie Siemonsma of Archer visited Linda Rozeboom Saturday. On Monday, Linda had lunch with Dave and Carol Van Roekel of Spirit Lake.

Chloe Elbon of Forest City was a weekend guest in the Jack and Carol Elgersma home. She came especially to attend the wedding of her cousin, Cody Holz to Morgan Berg in an outdoor wedding at Beaver Valley Lutheran Church on Saturday. Also attending the wedding were Stacey, Roy and Nick Eeten of Sioux Falls, SD, Jeff, Alissa, Taylen, Ellie and Jase Holland of Buffalo Center, Kris Hakeman of Coral Springs, FL, Stephanie Vander Plaats of Sheldon, Allison and Rod Mercer of Spirit Lake, and Andy, Brandi, Maci, Jack and Kennedy Wright, and Becky Suckow of Sanborn.
