MMCRU tops Hawk bowlers
Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn took on MMCRU for the second time this season, and once again the Royals came out on top. The Hawk girls lost 2557 to 1937 and the HMS boys fell 2854 to 2667. The meet took place January 12 at Maple Lanes in Remsen.
Jordan Lux recorded the high girls game with a 203. She also bowled a 169 for a two-game total of 372. Other totals were 266 for Lexi Croatt, 242 for Meghan Larson, 223 for Annika Overmire, 205 for Destiny Olvera and 150 for Keyanna Brower. The Hawk girls’ Baker games were 130, 108, 148, 128 and 115 for a total of 629.
Carson Miller of MMCRU bowled the boys high game of 235. High for the HMS boys was Riley Russell with a 227. He also rolled a 147 for a two-game total of 374. For the other bowlers it was Marcus Aaron with 370, Caleb Aaron with 354, Jack Mastbergen with 351, Drew Prins with 314 and Dawson Niichel with 308. The Baker games for the HMS boys were 168, 202, 168, 164 and 202 for a total of 904.
