Keith and Nancy Iverson visited the Shane Elgersma family at Otsego, MN last week. Their granddaughter, Joie competed in the gymnastics competition for Rogers High School. They were conference champs.
Don and Pat Enger hosted a Super Bowl party Sunday. Guests were Hank and Mary Iedema and Earl and Carol Seivert.
Last week Wednesday, Feb. 8, Susan Leth, Kathy Ginger, Carol Salazar, and Cindy McParland drove to Spencer and enjoyed shopping and eating lunch at the Sports Page. They returned to Cindy’s home where they enjoyed coffee and dessert.
Pete and Evelyn Kroese took Jeane Van Veldhuizen and Harriet Van Veldhuizen to Humboldt last week Wednesday morning where they attended the funeral service for the wife of their cousin, Mrs. Kenny (Marylin) Kuyper held at Faith United Methodist Church.
Last Wednesday Linda Rozeboom met her sister, Donna and Don Olson of Sioux City in Le Mars for lunch.
The Crazy 8 Card Club met Friday for lunch at Jay’s Restaurant and then played 500. Ruth Hanno was hostess. Sandi Kleve won high score, Jean Snyder was second and Ardis Dummett was low.
Kris Van Beek, formerly of Sanborn, stopped to visit Charlotte Dasen last week after she had visited her mother at Prairie View. She and husband Harlan are presently in Arizona but flew back here for a scheduled doctor appointment at Sioux Falls.
Last Friday Carol Salazar and Cindy McParland visited Carol’s sister, Margaret Larson at Worthington, MN. They helped her get ready for her move to a smaller home.
