Christmas Festivus was held at the Barb Pry home on Sat., February 25. In attendance were Tom, Parker, Addie and Emma Pry with Emma’s fiance, Blake Nehring, all of New London; Tim, Bobbi and Sawyer Honkomp of Primghar, and Matt, Sally, Elayna and Rowan Urbanec of Bennington, NE. Unable to attend was Avarie Honkomp who is currently a student at Kansas University in Lawrence, KS.
Sherryl Tressler took Wade Tressler, Roger, Rae Lyn and Ethan Paulson out for supper to celebrate their birthdays last week. Connie Brewster joined them at the Pizza Ranch for the party.
Diane and Chad McKee and dog Murphy of Sioux Falls were Saturday visitors in the home of her mother, Harriet Van Veldhuizen. In the afternoon Diane and Harriet visited Jeane Van Veldhuizen at Prairie View Manor. They were joined by Donna and Kim Farrell. In the evening the McKees, Harriet, Ryan and Nancy Van Dyke, and John, Donna and Kim Farrell met at Jay’s for supper.
Sunday guests of Keith and Nancy Iverson to help celebrate Keith’s birthday were Brent Elgersma, Brian, Betheny and Jenna Buren, and Aaron and Crystal Letsche of Marcus. They brought pizza for all to enjoy.
Larry and Fran Peelen received word of the engagement of their granddaughter, Abby Meyer to Wes Beckler. Abby is the daughter of Ken and Dianne Meyer of Omaha. A July wedding is being planned.
