Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn’s two upperclassmen on the girls golf team, Kinsey Schirmer and Gracie Knobloch ventured to Spencer Golf & Country Club April 29 for an 18-hole Invitational. Knobloch placed eighth.
“Monday was a good day at Spencer….even though it was awful cold and windy,” noted HMS coach Cheryl Kroese. “The girls had, neither one, ever played that course before so it was a good test for them. It’s definitely a longer course than some that we have seen, but both Kinsey and Gracie handled it well. I was proud of their efforts coming in with a 103 and 95 respectively.”
