The Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn boys track and field team was back at Orange City April 15 to take part in the Unity Christian Co-ed Invite. The Hawks scored 35 points in the meet won by MOC-Floyd Valley with 124 points.
Blaine Finster finished third in both the 110 meter and 400 meter hurdle events. Also placing third were the 4×400 relay of Carter Dolphin, James Carlin, Ryan Grotluschen and Damian Dodge and the distance medley relay with Caleb Grotluschen, Isaac Schierholz, Carlin and Ryan Grotluschen.
Alex Billings was fourth in the shot put and Talen Zearing fifth in the 110 meter hurdles. Placing sixth were Caleb Grotluschen in the 200 meters, Damian Dodge in the 800 meters, Easton Teal in the 3200 and Payton Morton in the 400 meter hurdles. Also coming in sixth was the 4×100 relay of Brayden Moore, Schierholz, Carlin and Caleb Grotluschen.
